Street Fighter in REAL LIFE VISION

If only this what the way all fights looked. I mean I love a good, old fashioned hair pulling, rolling around in the dirt brawl and much as the next person....but this is just so much more poetic.

We're not to old for pre-teen violence

A little of the old ultra violence.

The genius of this video is the childish-ness. The fact that little kids are acting out so much violence and using child-like cartoons to animate their violence. So contradictory....but SO INTRIGUING.

And the song just fits the mood perfectly.

Hear HEAR: Cinnamon Chasers DELUXE

While I'm on this great music video spree, check out the video for Luv Deluxe by the Cinnamon Chasers. A great, chill out song, a story, unique, gritty cinematography. Perfect, perfect and perfect. Loves it.

It's a great song to play in the background while you're studying.

JGL and HitRecord

I just want to promote Joseph Gordon Levitt's mass-multimedia-production-social network-like company because it's a great idea and just like Fun Theory, makes for quality products.

JGL talks about the concept behind HitRecord and is generally a BAMF.

BASICALLY:
ANYONE can join the site and post ideas for movies, music, art, photography, etc. on the site. And other users will give you feedback and if they love it enough they may help you in making that idea a reality. (Giuseppe Levitt gives a good example in the video). And the best part is that if the final product somehow generates revenue, everyone who helped make it will get money for it.

I'm signing up now and I suggest everyone check it out. There are so many creative people in this world, Hit Record allows talent from anywhere to collaborate and come up with great art.

Starting Pitcher, You Sucka!!

No Mas Presents: Dock Ellis & The LSD No-No by James Blagden

The Fun Theory

I just want to call attention to a group that calls itself The Fun Theory and aims to "change people's behavior for the better" by making every day tasks fun. All of their ideas are just so creative and forward thinking. I wish these ideas could be implemented on a massive scale all over the world. Private investors, where you at?

Insert old can as credit. Pull slot lever for chance to win a free, cold drink.

The Public Transportation Train that turns each riding ticket into a lottery ticket. "The whole train erupts into a party when someone wins" and money falls from the ceiling.

Seriously, check out the other ideas on the website. It's so simple and we can make cities so much nicer with more fun.

Art About TV Shows is Art Worth Having

Goin' Down to South Park by *UnassumingPumpkin on deviantART
Damien, Token, Pip, Timmy, Clyde, Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Jimmy, Thomas (the Tourette's kid), Butters, Craig and Tweek.

I am STUNNED. If anything, his renditions of Cartman, Stan, and Kyle are PERFECT.

Arts and Crafts Mamma!

So I've been on this Arts and Crafts kick recently.

I just moved into a new apartment, and a lot of the tables we have are wooden (or fake wooden but still the same effect). And we all know that wet cups + wood tables = RUINED, stained forever! Which is why coasters were invented.

Anyway, I didn't want to buy coasters so instead I'm making my own out of:

Photobucket
PERLER BEADS. AKA Pyssla Beads in Sweden.

Apparently Ikea sells a giant tub of these things for like $6 (SCREW YOU MICHAELS). Naturally I bought it and now I can make coasters in masse and sell them on ebay or something.

Photobucket
Rubik's cube, Super Mario Bros Box, DOMOKUN

Photobucket
I also made a mooninite from ATHF, or the Great Boston Bomb Scare of 2007. Good times.

But it's really cool because I just leave all the tools on my coffee table...so whenever someone visits they can make me cool coasters too! And they work really well as coasters.

YESSSSS. ARTS AND CRAFTS COFFEE TABLE.

Here's my roommate's failed attempt at making something as cool as I did.

I LOVE PERLER BEAD COASTERS.

Onto my SECOND Arts and Crafts, which I've actually been working on this one for the past year. Being in college and what not, promoters will not LMTFA. And they always slipped these stupid ugly flyers under my door and made me want to kill someone. But I mean, it feels so wasteful to throw them away because they're all glossy and crap, and colorful.

So I started taping them all over my door. And after collecting the flyers for a while it got pretty intense. And I love it.

I mean, look how cool that flyer art is! It's really such a waste of hip, more importantly SUGGESTIVE, art!

I mean look at that BAMF Flyer collage. It's like 4 feet tall now. Saving the planet, one flyer at a time. So the point is that you should recycle your flyers. Make something cool out of them like:
- Wall art (like me)
- I've also seen people make floor mats out of them
- A trash can or something like the rolled up magazine trash cans
- A lamp shade
- If you connect them with metal links they could potentially be a really cool curtain or beaded doorway-esque thing

IDK, the possibilities are endless, REALLY!

Jell-ROE

This entry won runner up at the Jell-O mold competition in Brooklyn. Spectators said it tasted just like roe aka fishy and salty, but how fun would it be for party food if you made it taste like different, regular Jell-O flavors? You could have a bowl filled with Jell-O balls of all the colors of the rainbow. Maybe a new take on Jell-O shots? Hmm? Anyone?

Party On Party Cat

I don't like cats but the recent Keyboard Cat and pre-recent Spaghetti Cat just make me want to die. I LOVE THEM. And now I've discovered Party Cat which I LOVE AS WELL.

BRING THE LULZ PARTY CAT

It's a little short story comic about a cat. That likes to party. And his "owner" that also likes to party. Really cute.
