The Fire We Make (At the Bar)

This share is a little unorthodox but there is a funny story behind this video. LITTLE DOES THE WORLD KNOW, Dinosaur and I are sitting behind one of those doors (in the beginning check-in scene) casually enjoying cocktails while this was being filmed. 

Sometimes you just go into a bar and they're filming an Alicia Keys x Maxwell video, right? Yeah I know, totally random. 

Oh but the drinks were really good. If you're in New Orleans check out The Columns, especially at happy hour. Fantastic atmosphere, great drinks, LOTS of seating (a high priority in my book because ain't nobody got time to be standing around all night).

Remember when we started off on Uber? And then it shut down... so we had to move to Blogger? This was our original header, designed by the amazing GHP.

Then we decided to go for a new header, which was our last layout. God I really loved and still love this header. We blogged with it for A LONG time, went away for a while and then came back and blogged on it for a week and then...

It's so beautiful. I can't get over it. And have you even clicked on everything in the sidebar? It's pretty amazing. Golden Hot Pants, you are a genius when it comes to coding and layouts. I hope everyone enjoys our new look because I know I do.

The boys are back in town!

Boys aka mee! I finally got a new laptop after my last notebook disaster. I've gone through 2 now. Hopefully nothing happens to this one.
