This family sent 6 kids to college when they were 12 years old.

One received a masters in Math and Mechanical Engineering and another is going to be a Navy doctor at 22! This is insane. Also, DAMN they have A LOT of kids.

Kamehameha is the New Planking

I can accept this fad because it actually requires athletics and skilled photography.

Because who doesn't like hot creme sprayed in their faces?

Remember that physicist who built the overly complicated machine to separate the creme from Oreo cookies? Well, looks like Nabisco's Cookie v. Creme campaign is back with a part 2 to this Oreo separator series. I personally am not a big fan of Oreos, but it is fun watching these inventors come up with these super elaborate contraptions.

JGL and HitRecord

I just want to promote Joseph Gordon Levitt's mass-multimedia-production-social network-like company because it's a great idea and just like Fun Theory, makes for quality products.

JGL talks about the concept behind HitRecord and is generally a BAMF.

BASICALLY:
ANYONE can join the site and post ideas for movies, music, art, photography, etc. on the site. And other users will give you feedback and if they love it enough they may help you in making that idea a reality. (Giuseppe Levitt gives a good example in the video). And the best part is that if the final product somehow generates revenue, everyone who helped make it will get money for it.

I'm signing up now and I suggest everyone check it out. There are so many creative people in this world, Hit Record allows talent from anywhere to collaborate and come up with great art.

Ask a Silly Question a la Craigslist

I have 2 dogs & I was buying a large bag of Pal at Big W and standing inline at the check out.

A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Pal Diet again although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IV's in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Pal nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a guy who was behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I'd ended up in the hospital in that condition because I had been poisoned. I told her no; it was because I'd been sitting in the street licking my balls and a car hit me.

I thought one guy was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard as he staggered out the door.

Stupid b*tch...why else would I buy dog food??

I love sarcastic people.

David Thorne. A True Comedian.

The name may not ring a bell, but I'm sure everyone has seen the email exchange between David and some lady where he tries to pay his bill with a crappy picture of a spider. Well the comedic Gods are smiling upon the world because David Thorne actually has a website with PLENTY more where that came from. He's like all the wit and sarcasm I wish I had rolled into one person who people foolishly keep asking for favors.

His latest exploit is about a Missing Cat named Missy and is hilarious.

Lenny Kravitz crashes the VOP Choir in New Orleans for "Fly Away"

How great it must be for Lenny to randomly hear performers singing his song and how great it must be for the kids to get to perform it with him! If only I had chance encounters like this every time I sing in my car. Props Lenny and kids, Props.

I am freaking out.

Akinator, the Web Genius really does live up to his name. Basically, you're playing 20 questions with this virtual genie, and so far he's NEVER been wrong. I am literally FREAKING OUT. The first time I thought of Vicki from Real Housewives of Orange County. He guessed correctly. Then, I thought of Zooey Deschanel. He guessed correctly, again. Then I thought of Littlefoot! AND HE GOT THAT TOO! My brother thought of Slifer the Sky Dragon. I don't even know what that is, but he guessed it. What can Akinator not guess correctly?!

A Good Night

So I'm always looking for a new Photography/Movie project and this has inspired me. I want to go around to different Apple stores and then do a performance like this and see what the people behind me do. Because the people watching this kid are hilarious. He's got balls.

And also, I haven't seen the real music video to this song, and I probably won't because I don't really care for this song, BUT I'm pretty sure I'd like this kids version better and I hope the Black Eyed Peas use him in the future because he's so into it and heartwarming.

HEAR HEAR: Hendrix is back.

"Nearly 40 years after it was recorded at Jimi Hendrix’s final recording sessions, an unearthed song called “Valleys of Neptune” will feature on a compilation of the same name on March 9th. Valleys of Neptune will include 12 tracks recorded at various studios during Jimi’s final recording sessions while working on his posthumously completed First Rays of the Rising Sun. “Valleys of Neptune,” which was never released commercially but did appear on 1990’s Lifelines: The Jimi Hendrix Story four-disc set, will also be released as a single on February 2nd." via ROLLING STONE

HEAR HEAR: Theresa Andersson

If you haven't tapped into New Orleans local music, you need to NOW. I've recently been obsessed with this amazing compilation of nola music put together by The Gambit. One of my favorite tracks (besides the Givers track. Duh. Givers is a GIVEN. Pun totally intended.) is Birds Fly Away by Theresa Andersson, and after seeing this old video of her appearance on Conan, I love her even more!
